A summary of James’ personality type / personal style

James is a high energy ‘sunshine yellow’ personality at heart, but he has also developed significant analytical skills. He is versatile and able to control and direct his style to best suit the situation and the specific audiences / individual. James is a curious questioner and a deep listener and he tends to encourage people to act with courage and authenticity as much as possible.

James’ qualifications and training experience

James studied dramatic arts and film studies. He is a qualified actor and trained singer. James has developed his mastery as a facilitator, trainer, and coach over the last 20 years, working across multiple fields, industries, and levels within the organisational hierarchy. His self-directed learning and extensive work experience (in many different specialist and management roles, as well as my skills as a facilitator) make him a highly dynamic person to use in any group facilitation.
James has worked for an enormous range of companies and consultancies delivering a range of facilitated(and training) programmes. Some examples are:

  • Leadership programmes for senior executives teams (eg: Top 200 Std Bank / Top 50 Sibanye Gold /Senior leaders in ABSA / FNB / Hollard / Capitec / Anglo Coal are some examples / Discovery Health)
  • James has run team development sessions for a range of small businesses and schools, including culture change programs across smaller business systems.
  • James has facilitated and integrated large group conferences for many corporates.
  • James has conducted 2000 hrs + of personal coaching in the field of recovery coaching and life coaching.

James’ style is open, vulnerable, curious, reflective, inspirational, creative and challenging.

Performance, art, music, singing, reading, fishing, learning through growth mindset, helping people to break free, and being a family man.

James’ superpower as a trainer

James can get any group to open up to be as authentic and real as possible.
